iPhone 12: the whole range will have OLED displays, even the 5.4 "model | Rumor

iPhone 12 will have an OLED screen, and this will apply to all its variants. This is, in a nutshell, what can be deduced from the report published by DigiTimes in which we read how the Chinese BOE was chosen by Apple for the realization of the panel – OLED, in fact – intended for the smallest expected model, the 5.4-inch one.

According to reports, therefore, even the "basic" – and more compact – version of the four expectations can count on this technology, and not on the liquid crystal display that we should instead find on the iPhone SE 2. This is not a novelty, rather than a confirmation – albeit unofficial – and would represent an important step forward compared to the LCD panel that we find today on the iPhone 11, whose positioning on the market should be in line with that in which the iPhone 12 from 5.4 will be placed "To meet Apple's request, BOE would have entered into an agreement with the touch panel manufacturer General Interface Solutions specifically dedicated to this model.
