Track changes made to cell contents, such as text, formulas, and inline images. In addition, you can detect changes made to cell attributes, such as cell format, background or opacity.
Changes affecting the addition, removal, movement of rows or columns are not detected. Changes to the edges of cells, the division or division of cells and automatic filling are also not detected.
Information about the reported changes is displayed and can be viewed at any time or only when a change or a cell containing a change is selected.
To detect changes in table cells:
- Choose Composition> Track Changes. The Tracking Bar appears.
- Select one or more cells of the table and modify the contents of the cells. Cells with reported changes are marked by an indicator in the upper right corner of the cell, with the color assigned to the author. If the changes have been made by multiple authors, the color of the gray cell indicator.
- To show detection balloons, choose View> Show Comments & Changes panel, then choose Show All from the Discovery Balloons pop-up menu.
To view detection bubbles for only one or more cells in the edited table, choose "Show only for selection" from the "Discovery bubbles" pop-up menu, then select one or more cells in the table marked with a marker.
