Who loved Monsters & Co., the film of the Pixar in 2001, I can't miss the appointment at the cinema with Monsters University, a sort of prequel to the animated film with monsters. But the film will be in Italian theaters only on August 21st; and then, how to trick the wait if not with the best Android games on the subject?
We offer you two: the brand new Monsters & Co. RUN is Monsters U: Catch Archie. Both are available on the Google Play Store. Let's start with the last one, Catch Archie: the free game dedicated specifically to Monsters University. The protagonist Mike Wazowski (in the film voiced by the inimitable and mourned Tonino Accolla), who, in a classic runner game, must run, avoid obstacles, take bonuses and catch Archie, a sort of little monster dog.
We will see Mike run between avenues of the university campus (in fact, the film set in the University of monsters), in an attempt to chase the pig mascot from the College. In fact, this game has disappointed many users, as it has nothing different from many runner games, and also a bit of poor graphics. But, since it's free, you can still try it.
Different, however, Monsters & Co. RUN, recently available on the Play Store at a price of 1.55 (however a reasonable price). In this game we can take on the role of Mike or Sullivan: the aim is to save Boo. RUN, therefore, does not refer to the new film, but to the previous one. It is a Super Mario style platform game: you have to run, avoid falling, hitting monsters, taking bonuses. However, there are several power-ups, and there is also the possibility of switching from Mike to Sullivan. You also need to recover the items that Boo has lost. The graphics, in this case, very satisfactory.
Our advice? Try both games, especially as the poorest free one and … see you at the cinema!
