A tablet that wants to act as a reference point in the Android world, both for those who consume and for those who create content
A few days after the official presentation of its Galaxy Note 9, the Korean Samsung wanted to sneak another product destined to rank among the best in its category: the tablet Galaxy Tab S4, with 10.5-inch display and S Pen nib present in the package. The gadget is not a normal tablet dedicated exclusively to the consumption of content, but is placed together with iPad Pro and the 2 in 1 Windows as a tool for productivity.
By hooking the optional keyboard which also acts as a case, the graphic interface can in fact change assuming ideal characteristics for laptop use, with a desktop equipped with shortcuts, well visible files and apps contained within windows to be resized as desired. By connecting the gadget to an external display via the USB Type-C port, the images are reproduced on the screen and the tablet becomes a huge trackpad or a drawing surface to be used with the nib.
At the base of Galaxy Tab S4 there is a 2560 x 1600 pixel super amoled screen, a processor Snapdragon 835 accompanied by 4 GB of ram64 gb of internal memory expandable via microsd cards and a battery from 7300 mAh with quick charge support. Among the extras there is a system of four Akg speakers with Dolby Atmos audio support, optional Lte connectivity and 13 and 8 Mpixel cameras.
Thanks also to a more refined design and reduced frames, Tab S4 aims not only to replicate the success achieved by the predecessor, but also to entangle Apple fans who for the new iPads may have to wait for autumn. It must be said that the gadget will not be sold at a bargain price: the wifi only version starts from 729 euros(ten less than the equivalent configuration of the Cupertino tablet, which does not offer support for microSD cards) while the one equipped with 4G connectivity has a starting price of 799. To buy it, you will have to wait the end of the month.
