In these first weeks of 2020 we have already seen the release of some "top of the range" Android phones, in particular Galaxy S20 is Xiaomi Mi 10, the first smartphones to be powered by the brand new processor Snapdragon 865 by Qualcomm, supplied with integrated 5G connectivity.
However, other top of the range are coming at a rather affordable price. We are talking about the series OnePlus 8, which will have the same Snapdragon 865 processor but a much lower price compared to Samsung smartphones. In the last few hours a new "leak" has appeared online which reveals the main specifications of the alleged OnePlus 8 models, which are expected to be launched quickly (by March or at the latest in April, ed.).
An online retailer has in fact made known about ads covering all three OnePlus 8 phones that CEO Pete Lau's company will officially present by this spring: the Lite model, the standard model and the Pro variant.
As for OnePlus 8 Lite, the phone will show up with a 6.4-inch AMOLED display complete with a "hole" and a refresh rate of 90Hz. Only in this case the processor an MTK Dimensity 1000 Octa-core, combined with 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and two storage options (128 GB and 256 GB).
OnePlus 8 "standard" will instead have a 6.55-inch AMOLED FHD + display with a refresh rate of 90Hz and a processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 5G, with Adreno 640 GPU, 6 GB / 8 GB / 12 GB of RAM and always two storage options (128 GB and 256 GB). In addition, the phone will be equipped with a triple rear camera, with a 48MP main sensor, a 16MP secondary sensor and a third 2MP sensor. On the front there is a 32MP Samsung GD1 sensor.
On the other hand, OnePlus 8 Pro will be the only phone with a 120Hz display and the only handset with a 4,500 mAh battery with a faster wired charging of 50 W. The screen is a 6.5-inch AMOLED FHD +, while the processor of course Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 5G, with Adreno 640 GPU. Triple rear camera also for OnePlus 8 Pro, with 60 MP main sensor. On the front we find instead a dual 3D sensor Samsung GD1 + ToF 32MP.
