If you need to create numerous documents with similar characteristics, then you can create a basic structure common to all your documents and save it as a template so that you can easily find and reuse it.
When you save a document as a template, the document will be available in the "Template selection" window by selecting "My templates".
To save a document as a template:
Choose File> Save As Template.
