Sony Xperia L4 officially launched as the Japanese company's new smartphone. The new Sony Xperia phone presents itself as the successor to the Xperia L3 that Sony presented at Mobile World Congress (MWC) of Barcelona last year. The Japanese giant would almost certainly have chosen the Spanish fair for the presentation of this new product, but as is known, the MWC 2020 was canceled due to the spread of the coronavirus.
The smartphone is sold in two color optionsor Black and Blue. Sony Xperia L4 will be on sale in the spring: at the moment the Japanese company has not yet clarified the prices for this new phone. However, we already know that Xperia L4 it won't cost much, given that the specifications are not top of the range. It is in fact an entry-level smartphone, exactly like the Xperia L3 which was launched on the market at a cost of 200 euros.
Coming to the specifications, Sony Xperia L4 works with Android 9 Pie as the operating system, with the Sony user interface. The phone equipped with a large 6.2-inch HD + (1680 × 720 pixel) display with a 21: 9 format, and also powered by a processor MediaTek MT6762 octa-core, combined with 3 GB of RAM and 64 GB of integrated storage space expandable via microSD card (up to 512 GB).
As for the photo sector, Sony Xperia L4 comes with a triple rear camera which includes a 13 megapixel primary sensor with an f / 2.0 lens, along with a 5 megapixel secondary sensor that has an f / 2.2 lens and a 2 megapixel tertiary sensor with an f / 2.4 lens. The phone also features an 8 megapixel front camera with f / 2.0 lens and also an in-display fingerprint sensor.
Connectivity options on the Sony Xperia L4 include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a / b / g / n, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS / A-GPS, NFC, USB Type-C and a 3.5 headphone jack mm. Finally, Sony Xperia L4 equipped with a 3,580 mAh battery with support for quick charging.
