IBM and Nintendo are getting closer, even visibly and symbolically, in the Game Cube adventure. As we have already repeated several times, the new console of the Japanese giant of interactive entertainment will have a processor based on PPC technology produced by IBM. The data, so far known only to a restricted circle of "experts", will be publicized and popularized using a clearly visible label on the outside of the machine. The two companies that will go on stage together during the event that will officially present the Game Cube in Tokyo announced yesterday the attempt by IBM to strengthen and make known its identity as a provider of technological content at all levels , following in the footsteps of Intel that it has built a very precise identity in this sense thanks to the well-known "Intel Inside" logo. For its part, Nintendo believes that combining its name with that of a well-known company in the world can provide greater guarantees in terms of quality and innovation.
