"Gyroscopic" baseball on iPod
In addition to Spore Origins, of which we speak separately, another game for the iPod classic, iPod nano and iPod 5G has also appeared on the iTunes store. This is Chalkboard Sports Baseball, an original title inspired by the world of what is perhaps the most American of sports.
The protagonists are not in fact real "human" players but a kind of "girosfere" that move at great speed on the field, doing what the real players do. The SPOGS (Sports, Player Object Gyros) go on the field five against five and can compete in two ways: quick game and playoff. Players can be customized using the images they prefer, by importing them with Facemaker (a web-based application). Daytime and nighttime games can be simulated on six different courses with special effects, refereeing decisions and background noise, including roars and applause from the audience.
The cost of 4.99 euros.
