CyanogenMod 11: Android 4.4.2 KitKat arrives for Galaxy S2

The Samsung Galaxy S2 certainly one of the devices, within the vast panorama Android, with the highest longevity ever, an aspect that has revolutionized companies' approach to the updates sector, which has always been considered a circumstantial element in marketing propaganda and that Samsung has been able to exploit to its advantage by gaining a good slice of the market thanks to customer trust.

Although the device has been officially excluded from the update list on the occasion of the release of Android 4.3, the modding community has thought about revitalizing the Galaxy S2 and in particular CyanogenMod, a guarantee for all fans who hope for these ROMs to be able to view the latest releases of the Mountain View OS on their device. In fact, the release of the CyanogenMod 11, based on the AOSP code of Android 4.4.2 for Samsung Galaxy S2.

The ROM was presented in a special thread on XDA Developers for the international model, that isGT-I9100 and therefore adoptable for all having a good usability and therefore perfect for daily use, even if it is only a first release in its current state Nightly and therefore it is incomplete, at least in terms of definition, compared to a Stable, to which it has very little to envy.
