We continue with articles dedicated to Pages,L'word processor for Mac. Today let's talk about the settings of a text document.
To change the settings of a document we have to click on ?settings?In the toolbar. After this click on the "document settings" button.
Here we have access to the following settings:
- Print format: we can change orientation, page size and print scale;
- Margins: we can specify a value in centimeters relative to the upper-lower-right-left margins, enable footer headers
- Style of the notes and footers and the space between them
- Automatic hyphenation
- Ligatures of Font
- Set a password to view the document
Allows you to customize the document index by setting which headings to display
Allows you to set title, author, keywords, comments and a series of statistics such as:
- n words
- n pages
- n lines
- n paragraphs
- n sections
- n charts
- n characters
The settings will be applied to the whole document.
