Optimize and adapt applications for the iPhone 5 display with Screen Extender

How to optimize and adapt all applications for the iPhone 5 display with Screen Extender

IPhone owners, 5, have you already jailbroken your smartphone?

If so, I recommend a today nice tweak that will help you make the most of your precious smartphone.

If, on the other hand, you have not yet done the jailbreak, run to do it

What is it about?

Screen Extender a beautiful tweak of Cydia, therefore compatible only with iPhone 5 with Jailbreak, which allows you to optimize and adapt all applications to the iPhone 5 display.

In fact, as you know, iPhone 5 has a more elongated display than that of iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S and not all developers have yet adapted their software to the new Apple display used on iPhone 5. You will have noticed, in fact, that in many programs some appear black bars at the top and bottom, precisely because the program has not been optimized for the new elongated display.

WithScreen Extender this annoying problem will be solved automatically: the program, in fact, allows you tomake applications that have not yet been optimized for the iPhone 5 display more pleasant.

As we said, although the iPhone 5 has been on the market for months, not all applications are currently optimized for the iPhone 5 display and unfortunately there are really many that show the black bars at the top and bottom when they are launched on iPhone 5.

From today, thanks to the Jailbreak and this tweak, it is possible to definitively solve this annoying problem.

Screen Extender, recently available on Cydia, simply readjusted all applications that do not have the 16: 9 format, making them perfectly compatible with the iPhone 5 display.

In some cases the perfect result, in other cases the disappointing result, but in most cases you will be able to view your applications without problems even on iPhone 5.

The Screen Extender program available for free on Cydia.

How do I activate Screen Extender?

To activate the Screen Extender, go to Settings and select the itemScreenExtenderthat appears after installation.

Once the tweak is activated from the settings, we can manually select the applications that we want to adapt to the iPhone 5 display. Once selected, a respring (to be done manually) may be necessary to make the changes effective.

I really recommend you try this tweak to adapt all applications to the iPhone 5 display.

At the same time, however, I recommend that you also try the programFullForce for iPhone developed by Ryan Petrich, which costs around 80 cents but works much better than this free program.

Try them both and let me know which one you prefer.
