iPhone hot in Australia: Virgin sold out
Australian mobile operator Virgin, owned by Optus, has published a new message on its website dedicated to the iPhone: "iPhone so requested that it will take a little longer to get to you". The mobile operator communicates that orders are accepted and that an email will be sent as soon as the booked unit arrives.
In the following part of the message, Virgin declares that the white models of 16 GB and the black ones of 8 GB have weekly arrivals, while for the black model of 16 GB it is necessary to wait even until the last days of August. We recall that the Virgin Australia mobile operator born in 200 from a partnership between Sir Richard Branson's multinational Virgin and the operator Optus, while since 2006 entirely owned by Optus while maintaining the Virgin brand thanks to a long-term contract.
