New Opera beta for Os X
Opera Software yesterday released the first version of its browser for MacOs X. Beta 1 supports the MacOs keychain, the autocompletion of URLs. An Internet search system is also implemented that allows you to navigate between the various sites that perform this function. In addition, it also offers a set of buttons that conform to Aqua's graphic style and that were presented during the MacWorld Expo in July. According to Hakon W. Lie, Chief Technology Officer of Opera Software, the completion of the final version of Opera for MacOs X important for the Norwegian company. The version available for download is version 5 (in beta for, as we said) and has a size of 2.1 MB. We remember that Opera is known for the development of an agile and small-sized browser that in Win environment has already found numerous hesitants. For Mac there is, in addition to the Carbon version, also a classic version (now in beta 2); a 68k version should also be released in the future.
