The instant messaging platform will soon allow you to find the perfect animated image in just a few taps
Whatsapp continues to focus more and more on animated gifs. This is confirmed by the next update arriving on Android and iOS smartphones obtained in preview by the Wabetainfo community, within which it will be possible to find moving images comfortably divided by category rather than arranged in a random list as has been the case so far. When looking for a specific gif (the section where to find them always remains the same, next to the emojis) the app will show a series of keywords frequently used by users such as Lol, Love, Sad, Happy and Dancing, which touches a skimming of the images belonging to the relative categories.
There is no shortage of one Trending section relating to the most popular gif of the moment n a function for save your favorite gifs to reuse them later, while those who prefer to browse the images by typing a keyword at will in the appropriate box can continue to do so by touching the magnifying glass symbol. The update brings the app to version 2.18.93, but for the moment it does not seem sufficient to activate the news described on all smartphones. Spotted on the channel reserved for beta users of the app, it will probably arrive on smartphones of the general public only in a few days.
