Swift Playgrounds, the app that teaches you how to program while having fun, now also available on Mac. And completely free.
Presented at WWDC 2016 on the occasion of the launch of iOS 10, Swift Playgrounds the Apple-branded application that allows you to learn to program while having fun. Now also available for Mac.
"Swift Playgrounds" reads the official website of the apple, "a revolutionary iPad app that teaches you to program with Swift in an interactive and fun way. It does not require computer skills, therefore perfect for those who start from scratch. You start with a series of puzzles : By solving them you will learn the basics of Swift, the powerful Apple language used by professionals to develop the most popular apps. By tackling other challenges you can level up and move to more sophisticated playgrounds, created by Apple and other famous software houses. "
In fact, it is a real course, complete with exercises and challenges which help to understand intuitively the mechanisms of software programming. The app is available for free on iPad and, as mentioned, also on Mac. You can download it from these links:
