Although decimated by the coronavirus, the MWC 2020 will enjoy some exceptional protagonists. In particular, this year Realme will debut at the Spanish event with Realme X50 Pro 5G, the company's first 5G smartphone with Snapdragon 865 5G processor.
The terminal will be presented during the launch event entitled Speed of the Future, which will be held on February 24th at 9:30 in the morning. For realme it is a debut at the Mobile World Congress, with the realme X50 Pro 5G which will be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 5G processor.
On January 7, 2020, realme launched the first 5G smartphone in China equipped with the Snapdragon 765G processor, realme X50 5G, enjoying great consumer success.
This year the Spanish event will see the significant absence of Sony, LG, Amazon, due to the coronavirus epidemic. All the more reason, therefore, for Realme it will be an opportunity to be on the front line.
According to the Counterpoint report, total shipments of realme smartphones in the third quarter of 2019 exceeded 10 million, thus bringing the brand to seventh place of smartphone shipments globally. Compared to the same period of 2018, realme has a growth rate of 808%, present in 25 markets all over the world including Europe.
At MWC 2020 realme will mark its presence as a trendy-tech populizer which represents an important step in the development of the brand and the corporate concept.
