Apple has locked signatures for iOS and iPadOS 13.3 about two weeks after the release of iOS / iPadOS 13.3.1, thus interrupting the possibility of downgrading to this particular version of the mobile operating systems of the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch.
The signature block arrives with timelines in line with those usually adopted, however it is good to report that in this case there has been a further reason to have pushed Apple to adopt this measure right now. Over the next few hours, in fact, the first public beta of the new version of unc0ver, the tool created by Pwn20wnd that will allow you to make jailbreak also on devices equipped with Apple A12, A12X and A13 Bionic SoCs equipped with iOS or iPadOS 13.3.
Those who are intent on exploiting it will do well not to update their smartphone or tablet, since now it is no longer possible to go back. In any case it seems that also iOS and iPadOS 13.3.1 are not exactly armored, since a jailbreak video has already been shown on this version of the operating system.
However, it is good to remember that the smartphone used for that demonstration is an iPhone X from 2017, therefore equipped with SoC Apple A11 Bionic, while the new version of unc0ver is also compatible with the most recent models, which have updated hardware and without the flaws that are exploited to jailbreak on devices of 2017 and previous years.
