1. Windows 10 (Preview) free
Windows 10 is the product of Microsoft's innovative engineering and the feedback of 5 million Windows Insiders who have tested the preview builds and provided over 800 KB of feedback to the company to help them create a better product. In return, Microsoft is pleased to provide them with a free copy of the Windows 10 Preview build under the Windows Insider program.
These prerelease builds will continue to be updated as additional test preview builds are provided, and then the Windows 10 preview will be activated until you keep updating to the latest preview builds. This means that you can get a preliminary version either Windows 10 beta free forever !

Press the Start button or the Windows key and the Start menu opens with most used apps grouped in a left column . Microsoft Edge (code called Project Spartan) replaces venerable Internet Explorer on the new Windows. It is based on a brand new rendering engine which improves performance and offers distinctive sharing features.
The Edge browser is faster than the fastest browsers in the world: Google Chrome and Apple Safari. Integrated Cortana directly in the browser, always ready to participate while typing something to search or surf the web. For example, typing "weather in Washington" immediately displays a sidebar with weather information. The most obvious feature is the view of reading without distractions and the possibility of annotate web pages directly : You can draw directly on web pages and type notes on OneNote and share them with other users via email or social networks.
5. D Hello to Cortana
Cortana comes to the desktop with Windows 10. la Microsoft's answer to Apple Siri and Google Now – a personal digital assistant who is around the corner ready to help you. implemented as a universal search bar located next to the Start button and replaces the built-in search function of Windows.
Cortana learns from your preferences much like other AI-based systems. Interacts naturally by speaking or typing and provides relevant recommendations, quick access to information, better searches and important reminders. It can also open apps, play music, send e-mails and also implement a "Notebook" function for managing personal information.
6. Virtual desktops
Virtual desktops are integrated directly into Windows 10 to offer a native virtual desktop experience as offered by many other operating systems and tools such as Linux and Mac OS X. It can be used to group or organize apps to simplify app management and improve productivity. It also provides one better privacy because only active apps present in the current virtual desktop are displayed as active in the system tray.
Virtual desktops can be activated by pressing the icon View activity in the taskbar or the keys Windows + Tab . Then click on the button New desktop in the lower right corner to create a new virtual desktop. You can move windows between desktops using drag and drop or right-click on any window on a virtual desktop and use the option Move to from the context menu.
7. Operations center and notifications
Windows 10 offers a revamped version of the Action Center that is more like the notification bar for mobile operating systems. It is part of Microsoft's dream of "Windows everywhere": it is an area of unified notifications that will show app and system notifications across multiple devices.

The Notifications area shows notifications from various apps and quick actions are very similar to Quick Toggles in Android which provide various buttons to enable / disable system settings such as tablet mode, location, Bluetooth, etc.

Continuum a feature designed for 2-in-1 hybrid devices, such as Microsoft Surface, which allows for a convenient switch between desktop and tablet mode. Windows 10 yes easily move between keyboard / mouse and touch / tablet while detecting the transition and switching to the new mode. If you prefer the tablet experience, you can also enable tablet mode on normal desktops.
Windows 10 includes various Snap features: Snap Assist, Corner Snap and Snap Fill . These features allow you to easily position windows the way you want them on the desktop. Whenever you put a window in the middle of the screen, Snap Assist shows the list of active windows to choose as the second window for the other half of the screen. Corner Snap allows users to create powerful layouts of three or four windows by sliding them around the corners. Windows 10 comes with unified apps that will work everywhere the new Windows functions . To this end, Microsoft is proclaiming universal apps that will be joined on PC and mobile devices.

10. Device Guard, Windows Hello and Microsoft Passport
Windows 10 comes with various security innovations . It offers many other ways to protect device data and access the desktop. It seeks to make computing more personal and to make users feel a great sense of trust when traveling across all their devices. Device Guard a security feature that allows organizations to lock devices as an advanced malware protection technique. It works by blocking anything except trusted apps (apps signed by vendors, Windows Store or organization).
Windows Hello a biometric authentication feature in can provide immediate access to Windows 10 devices. Uses face, iris or fingerprint recognition to offer a maximum level of security that is much more secure than traditional passwords. Microsoft Passport a function of authentication to two factors of enterprise level to better protect corporate data and online experiences in an easier way than ever. It allows you to securely access apps and other parts of the system without a password.
