Google translator has recently received a new update for iOS systems that allows you to enable dark mode, among the latest innovations introduced right from iOS 13. On iPhone and iPad it is called "Dark mode"and to enable it, simply go to the Settings menu by activating the appropriate item.
As shown in the screenshots below, the background is not completely blackbut rather a very dark gray, probably to better accentuate the contrasts of the text characters.
