A new 12.5-inch ultralight laptop that offers the latest Intel processors as well as a rich fleet of ports
A cutting-edge computer brand somewhat forgotten by the masses VAIO, a Japanese company born from the Sony notebook division. Let's go back to talking about it, although many of us probably had a little forgotten it, though its updated ultrabook, the VAIO SX12, a business laptopcompact and very light(weighs less than a kilogram) in carbon fiber, replacing in its heart 8th generation Intel processors with the most modern Comet Lake chips of the10th generation Intel.
VAIO SX12 small but populated
Despite the small size, the manufacturer managed to integrate a12.5 Full HD display in a 11-inch chassis, thanks to the use of particularly thin bezels and a keyboard with a 19 mm stroke, for impeccable ergonomics. In addition, VAIO SX12 boasts a telaiolaterally populated with many ports, given the presence of an HDMI, a VGA, a Gigabit Ethernet LAN, a 3.5 mm jack, a reader of mnemonic cards, and as many as 3 USB ports: of these, one Type-A follows the 3.0 standard, while the other two (one on each side) focus on 3.1, type A or C (also for charging).
Animated by Windows 10 Home, the VAIO SX12 is based on processors Intel Core i5-10210U is Core i7-10710U 10th generation, which offer four or six cores and integrated UHD graphics. To these are then matched 8 GB of RAMLPDDR3 and a 256 GB solid state drive with a PCIe or SATA interface, dedicated to storage. Then there is also the TruePerformance proprietary cooling system that allows the CPU to maintain higher frequencies for longer. VAIO declares an autonomy ofalmost 14 hours on one charge, but did not reveal the battery capacity

The new VAIO SX12 and VAIO SX 14 laptops will be available in five colors (black, silver, brown, pink and red), and should both cost about 1,600 euros, although official prices and availability for the European market have not yet been announced.
