Epson presents a direct-to-garment (DTG) printer specifically developed for medium-large clothing companies and t-shirt suppliers. It's called Epson SureColor SC-F3000 and designed for all those companies that require high levels of precision, fast delivery times and the ability to reproduce complex projects on a wide variety of garments.
For the first time in the DTG range, Epson uses its solution with an external ink loading system with 1.5 liter compact ink bags that help reduce the TCO (acronym for Total Cost of Ownership, i.e. the total cost that is incurred by the company for the purchase of the specific good or service) and downtime.
To complete the printer, the company has introduced some elements to ensure efficiency and productivity also for use by less experienced users, while maintaining high standards of quality and printing accuracy.
Epson SureColor SC-F3000 easy in everything from installation to access to the maintenance area and replacement of consumables. It mounts a 4.3-inch touch panel to control its main functions and also features a platen height self-regulation system with sensors to automatically detect the height of the surface of the garment and easily switch to different types of fabric such as t- shirts, hoodies, tote bags and T-shirts.
The company promises more accurate print quality thanks to the ink drop positioning technology With this model it is not just a question of having created a user-friendly DTG printer, but of being able to offer many companies a cost-effective, creative and high-speed solution who want to improve and control the quality of their final product, says Nikolaos Vardakastanis, DTG product manager of Epson Europe.
Epson SureColor SC-F3000 will be available from June 2020 at a price not yet disclosed. Consumer models of the same line but designed for office use are on sale also on Amazon.
