How to activate call recording on Galaxy S5

The guide

  1. Download a file manager that takes advantage of root permissions. What we recommend File Manager.
  2. Open the file manager and go to Root> System> CSC and find a file called Others.xml. This is the file that can record calls.
  3. Rename the file toOthers.xml.old.
  4. Download the new file fromhere and move it to Root> System> CSC. The new file has the call recording feature activated.

Restart the phone and the button to register it will appear during a call. If you want to go back and disable call recording, simply delete the new file and leave the old one.
