The stories of snapchatiana inspiration on Instagram have been a step forward towards a larger project. So, the news, which in the short term the social network could offer the possibility of broadcast live.
The news was unveiled by a Russian site, whose photos show a banner with the inscription "Live" on some of the stories in the banner dedicated to them in the application.
For the moment Instagram has preferred not to comment, but this new function, discovered through a beta test for Android, it could be the natural completion of a long-started strategy. In July, the platform had recorded a 150% increase in video views in the past six months, so much so as to add advice on that type of content in the Explore section, which now also includes stories.
At the level of commands for the user, the possibility of starting live streaming would be activated thanks to a red button with writing "Go Insta!" (sounds good, it must be said).
With Facebook taking videos to the next level thanks to all the experimentation on virtual reality, Instagram with this move could bring live streaming to those who have not yet wanted to try it elsewhere.
