Google has just launched the definitive keyboarddedicated to iPhone owners obsessed with instant messaging, gifed emoji. As its name suggests, Gboard for iPhone unfortunately was born as an exclusive app for Apple devices, but if it were to be successful, the Mountain View house could decide to convert it or integrate its functionality all inside the Android operating system developed by its own engineers.

The keyboard allows you to always find the right smiley face and imagefor any moment without ever leaving the app in which the conversation is taking place. Through the button that represents the Google logo you get access to all the classic smileys of the Unicode panorama, or alternatively a bar dedicated to finding the most appropriate gif for the situation opens. The special box also works for classic search, by opening at the bottom of the screen a series of results related to the information requested (such as news or nearby restaurants), ready to be sent to the recipient.

Otherwise the keyboard works normally and includes functions of spelling correction, predictive suggestions and sliding typing system. Google makes it available for free, with the hope that, between an Obama gif and a rainbow of hearts in emoji format, the integrated search engine can collect valuable information on the curiosities and desires of those who are chatting.
