The project is still in its infancy, but it could become a Snapchat model app
When Facebook decides to let their apps have a life of their own, it's usually serious. success with Messenger, which has become a real platform, and now it seems that the attention of the social network is focused on photos and videos.
According to reports from the Wall Street Journal, the company's London team is developing an app in its own right dedicated to images and clips. The application should open the camera directly, a bit like it does on Snapchat, to entice users to share their content.
Other functions would be dedicated to live video, a sector on which the social network has been focusing for some time, already sowing panic among competitors: after the arrival of Facebook Live and already weighed down by the fight with Periscope on Twitter, Meerkat has decided to change Street.
According to sources close to the magazine, the project is however in its early stages and its future still to be deciphered.
