Made in Japan wooden iPod cases

Do you have a classic and traditional house, far from the plastic style of the Ikea-invasion of recent years? Do you want your iPod to look good too when you put it on the cupboard or on a cupboard shelf? The minds of the Japanese company Rakuten will have had the same thought in conceiving the new cases for iPod video and iPod nano, made entirely of wood.

Cover, to be seen, made with skill, perfectly smooth and complete with openings to access the controls; pity that the material does not lend itself to what should be the main function of a housing, that is protection.

The completely aesthetic advantage: do you want to put an iPod encased in a beautiful ash or walnut cover? Too bad that, at the first fall, both your reader and your case would risk big.

In this case a "custody for custody" would be required; perhaps better to leave the iPod on the sideboard, like a real ornament. If an iPod were left over, you could also think about it, as long as the cases arrive in Italy or you go to Japan.
