According to rumors, the company would be working to integrate Goggles' augmented reality features into the camera app
Augmented reality features in Google's camera app: sounds plausible. According to rumors collected by the Android Authority, Mountain View would be working to integrate Google Goggles' capabilities into the camera app. Goggles an augmented reality app that allows the user to photograph anything to carry out searches based on shots.
According to anonymous sources, however, if Goggles allows you to search based on the entire image, Google would be at work to allow you to select certain areas of the photo, for even more specific engine questions.
Goggles was launched in 2009, but after a few years it has not been updated. If the rumors were true, instead of remaining an app stantedal from doubt future (or, by now, past), it could find new life with this integration.
