iPhone, component deliveries by April? | Macitynet.it
Apple has ordered its suppliers to ship iPhone components by April. The existence of a deadline is revealed by the China Economic News Service newspaper which claims to have received information from reliable sources close to the suppliers themselves.
According to some sites, the 'deadline' would be earlier than expected if the telephone distribution times were those set in the past few months, or in June.
In reality, beyond the reliability, to be verified, of the newspaper, it must be said that at the moment there is no reason to think that Apple can anticipate the launch of the iPhone. The advertising aired in the USA during the recent Oscars evening also explicitly mentions the month of June.
In any case, the launch of the phone in June does not conflict with the delivery in April of the components. In fact, it must be considered that Apple could be forced to deal with a huge demand, even if located only in the American market. To take full advantage of the demand but also to meet the product's expectations in terms of quality, Apple will certainly not be able to wait a few weeks before the launch to start assembling the iPhones. Here, therefore, that a start of production in the first half of April, considering also the shipping times of the material, could be in line with the launch set for June.
