Cisco and Apple, negotiations are still lengthening | Macitynet.it
New extension of the negotiations between Apple and Cisco on the iPhone brand. The new date set for the appearance before the judge to investigate the lawsuit has now been set for February 21.
The extension of time, the second after that already granted on January 31, evidently a positive sign regarding the prospects of a mediated solution. The same Cisco in a note underlines that the days that separate the two parts from February 21 will be used 'to reach a solution that satisfies the two parts'; if the negotiations were not well underway and in progress, there would have been no reason to postpone the date of the first appearance before the court.
At the end of last week, the Wall Street Journal, usually very well informed when it comes to the Apple home, had expressed optimism on the prospect of an agreement. According to the financial newspaper, Cisco and Apple could even have closed the matter before yesterday. This evidently did not happen but the prospects for a positive and rapid solution seem to be decidedly consistent.
