In both cases, this is a very simple operation that can be completed in a matter of seconds. Keep in mind that, in order to proceed, you must remember your old password if it were not, you will have to use the password reset procedure that will explain you at the end of the article.
How to change Facebook password from Computer
The first thing you need to do is open your browser, go to the main Facebook page and enter your email (or phone number) and your old password to access.

Done click on the triangle facing down that you find at the top right and select Settings.
At this point the game made:
- For "Actual" enter both the old password
- and then type in the new password in the next two fields
Finally click on Save Changes.
That's it: you managed to change your Facebook password. All the devices already connected will be disconnected and you will have to enter your access data again.
How to change the Facebook password from smartphones and tablets
Before continuing, I want to specify that, if you wish, you can carry out this procedure both from the browser of your device (by going to the Facebook home page) and from the official app of the service. In this example user lapp available for Android, however the procedure is absolutely similar also on iOS, Windows 10 Mobile and with the web browser.
First open the Facebook app, then tap the menu button (the one with the three horizontal lines on the right, which you see indicated by the arrow in the image below). Then tap on Account settings.
… and then, on the next screen, on the item Change Password.
At this point the game is done: you just have to type the old password and the new password where indicated and tap on Save changes.
