All users of the social network will be able to transmit direct videos. Meanwhile, the hours spent watching clips on the platform are 100 million per day
One hundred million hours of video viewed every day is truly an infinite amount of time (100 million, in fact, over 11 thousand years). Soon, the time that Facebook users spend in front of published clips could grow considerably.
The social network has in fact announced that, after the test period started in December, all users will be able to transmit direct videos from their profiles. For now, the function is only active in the United States, on the iPhone, but in the coming weeks it will reach all members in the rest of the world.
The icon for the live stream is located among the options available in the status composition window. You can add a status and select the audience with whom you intend to share the live broadcast, during which the number of connected people and their comments are displayed. After the transmission, the user chooses whether to delete the video or keep it.
