Users from different countries can already share apps, books, music and videos with relatives, but in Italy there is still more to wait
A few weeks after the sighting of the first signs, Google has activated family groups within the Play Store. From now users in the United States, Canada and Australia – but also our neighbors from the United Kingdom, France and Germany – can set up a membership of up to 6 people for share purchases made on smartphones and tablets.
The group creator must be at least 18 years old and has the responsibility of decide on which credit card the accounts will be debited. After completing the registration phase, family members will be able to go on virtual shopping even without the approval of the head of the family. Purchasable goods include apps, books, magazines and video content such as movies and TV series, while the insidious in-app transitions and real gadgets on the Google Store remain out of the calculation.
