To be able to use it first of all, you need a Google account, after which you just have to go to the Google Drive page and request the activation notification for your account.

Later (it may take a few days) an email will be sent to you from Google that will notify you of the occurrence activation of Google Drive for your account.

All that remains is to click on the button in the email and the page "My files on Google Drive?Where you can manage your files and download the program to be installed on your device to use Google Drive.

Another peculiarity (also present on DropBox) is to keep track of file changes, so that you can restore a modified file (changes made in the last 30 days are taken into account).

As already written, with Google Drive there are 5GB free available for each user, for those wishing to increase the usable space there are various tariff plans that allow you to extend the available space even up to 16TB.

Note that despite Google Drive offers a free initial space greater than that offered by DropBox, with DropBox you can increase the free space up to even over 20GB.
