From today Facebook Messenger users in the United States will be able to book a trip with Uber in just a few taps, without even having to exit the messaging app and even without having installed the app. The product manager of the social network Seth Rosenberg announced it, describing the details of the new service which for the moment will be limited to the overseas areas where Uber is already present.
To call a car already enough touch the car icon present above the text entry box, or touch any address typed in the conversation. At this point, the interface presents the details of the operation, with the starting and arrival points already set, but can be changed at will and the credit card associated with the Uber account. Just a touch is needed to confirm the request.
