Apple developer conference in early June?
WWDC will be held in the first half of June this year. To launch the anticipation, the site dedicated to AppleInsider indiscretions which cites some sources familiar with the planning of the event. The meeting, reserved for the developers of the platform but which has always been of interest to the final consumer public as well, according to what is learned, was scheduled between 10 and 15 of the month.
The date appears to be placed crucially. In June, Apple is expected to launch the iPhone in the US, Mac Os X will certainly be available in June. These two products could be the central elements of the conferences with sessions dedicated to creating programs for iPhone (although we already know that Apple wants to keep tight) content control) and for mobile hardware accessories. As far as Leopard is concerned, it will deal with the problems inherent in an operating system that promises to be rich in news, some of which will be revealed only in coincidence with the launch that could take place in the span of time from early April to the beginning of June.
Recall that WWDC, which is traditionally held now at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, was organized last year in the second half of August. On that occasion Apple launched the first Mac Pros with Xeon chips. In recent years, however, WWDC has been the most important summer event for Apple and has in fact taken the place of Macworld.
