Abstruse abbreviation for an interesting accessory coming out of Sony. The SRS DZ10 appears curious starting from the design: two speakers with a classic shape, completed by a cylindrical subwoofer, which can be positioned both horizontally and vertically.
The overall power of the Sony system of 37W, distributed in 6W for each speaker and 25W for the subwoofer; all in small dimensions: 6.3 cm x 14.3 x 6.3 speakers and 37.4 cm x 14.9 cm and 18.3 cm the subwoofer. Satellites and subwoofers are magnetically shielded, to minimize interference with computers and monitors.
The SRS DZ10 has two audio inputs, through which you can connect your Mac or iPod to the system. The Sony 2.1 still compatible with PC and other audio devices, such as MP3 players or PDAs. The audio controls are placed on a unit separate from the speakers, but connected to them via cables. On the unit there is the volume adjustment and a headphone and earphone jack.
The Sony product powered by a network adapter integrated in the system; the package includes a two meter long cable to reach the nearest mains socket.
The SRS DZ10 sold at a price of around 160 Euros.
