In this guide you will find a method that allows you to install Xposed on Android Nougat 7, considering that a version compatible with this operating system has not yet been released. If you have an Android device with Root permissions but you have not installed the Xposed Framework, then you are missing out on the possibility of installing several tweaks on your smartphone. If you don't know Xposed, a framework that allows you to customize the operating system in a way never seen before.
Xposed Framework officially compatible with Android Lollipop and Marshmallow, while a version compatible with Android Nougat has not been released. Despite this, the way to install Xposed on Android 7.0 / 7.1 has also been found and in this guide I would like to show you the procedure on how to do it.
This procedure for installing Xposed on Android Nougat 7 may not work on all devices, but if you're lucky you shouldn't have any problems. The method has been tested on ARM processor devices and is currently slightly unstable. For this reason, use the framework at your own risk taking this limit into account.
Before proceeding to install Xposed on Android Nougat 7 I advise you to make a backup of all your data. If you need it, read our guide that explains how to make a full backup of your Android smartphone.

In order to proceed you need to have root permissions on your Android smartphone. Read our guide to getting root permissions without a PC. I also recommend you access our section dedicated to root permissions. In addition to root permissions, a custom recovery must be installed. I recommend installing TWRP Recovery. How to install Xposed on Android Nougat 7 / 7.1
In order to install Xposed on your device you need to download two files. The first linstaller, different depending on the processor architecture. The second instead lapp to manage the Xposed tweaks.
- If Android Nougat 7.0 is installed on your device, download this file. If instead installed Android Nougat 7.1 download this file.
- Transfer the newly downloaded file to the internal memory of the smartphone.
- Now boot the device in recovery mode.
- Select the item Install zip.
- Search for the previously transferred file, select it and proceed with its installation.
- After the installation is complete, restart your smartphone.
- Now from your Android smartphone download the Xposed Installer App.
- At the end of the download, click on the file you just downloaded to start the installation.
At the end of the installation you will have Xposed Framework correctly installed on your Android smartphone with Nougat installed. Now you can start installing your favorite tweaks and customize the device according to your tastes.
