Microsoft has made available to users of Windows 7 (in the versions Professional, Ultimate and Enterprise) the possibility of using Windows XP in virtual mode thanks to the installation of Windows Virtual PC and Windows XP Mode. This move was made to try to make up for the incompatibilities of some Windows XP programs with Windows 7. For some users, a problem arose, as Windows Virtual PC and Windows XP Mode required that the computer be prepared for hardware virtualization ( HAV). Unfortunately Microsoft has worked on it and has released updates to make the programs in question work too on computers that do not have hardware virtualization support. The updates released must be installed by those who do not have hardware virtualization support, instead who has the computer with this support does not need to install them. Microsoft has expressed that the performances of Windows XP Mode are the same both on systems with hardware virtualization and on those without. The update must be installed after having installed Windows Virtual PCFind the links to download the updates below and I refer you to the guide on how to use Windows XP Mode to solve Windows 7 incompatibility problems.
