Qualcomm, a well-known company that supplies Snapdragon processors to most Android smartphones, has devised a system to ensure faster charging of the devices that mount their processor. The technology implemented available starting from the Snapdragon 801 and Snapdragon 400 processor family is called
Quick Charge, but without a compatible adapter it is not possible to exploit the potential of this technology. Quick Charge 3.0 Aukey USB Charger
Pack and USB charger Quick Charge 3.0 Aukey
The very compact sales package contains only the
Quick Charge 3.0 wall charger together with the instruction booklet. The dimensions of the charger are 9x5x2cm, for a weight of 52g. Currently available only in black color, with a satiny effect very pleasant to the touch, which gives excellent feedback thanks to the excellent build quality.
In the charger package
USB Quick Charge 3.0 not included a USB-microUSB cable to be used for charging. The advice I can give you is to use the original cable supplied with your device, or to buy one compatible with the Quick Charge 3.0 recharge (an incompatible cable may not guarantee satisfactory results). The output voltage is 5V, 9V or 12V, with an amperage between 1.5A and 3A, and is supplied based on the device connected to the charger.
Quick Charge 3.0 USB charger compatible not only with the Quick Charge 2.0 certified devices, but also with Quick Charge 1.0 devices but also consmartphone and tablet or other accessories not equipped with this technology. In the latter case there would be no advantage during the recharge.
To test the
Quick Charge 3.0 USB chargerI compared the charging speed of a Samsung Galaxy S8, compatible with Quick Charge 3.0 technology, first using the supplied Samsung charger and then the Aukey charger. It should be noted that with this technology it is not possible to charge the device up to 100% using fast charging, but only up to about 75% of the total battery capacity. After this threshold, the recharge will proceed normally.
With a charge of 5% of the device, both with the Samsung charger and with the Aukey one, in about 15 minutes I was able to recharge the smartphone up to 70%. A more than satisfactory result considering the overlapping performance of the two magazines. For completeness, in about half an hour I recharged the Galaxy S8 in about an hour.
The advantages that can be obtained in the purchase of the goods
Aukey 3.0 Quick Charge USB charger they are mainly three: the speed of recharging compatible devices, the low cost compared to a charger sold for example by Samsung, and the convenience of having the USB output frontally instead of on the back like in Samsung chargers.
I recommend the purchase of
Aukey 3.0 Quick Charge USB charger to all those who need to quickly recharge their device. Even just 15 minutes allow you to reach a satisfactory charge to arrive at night without problems. If you want to buy the Qualcomm-certified Quick Charge wall charger, you can do it on Amazon.
