In iTunes 4.9 shreds of Mactorola
The first indications of the arrival of the phone compatible with iTunes are in iTunes 4.9. To point out to us are some readers of Macitynet that tell us how in the program resources are "hidden" the settings for the connection to the phone.
"From what we understand – a friend of our site writes to us that he wants to remain anonymous – the phone could work the same way as iPod shuffle. In practice you connect the phone (perhaps via Bluetooth) and iTunes does everything else by loading the tracks in a causal manner ".
According to our reader, iTunes obviously can also enable the phone for use as a data storage system. "At first sight – our friend tells us – the phone will have a maximum capacity of 999 tracks or 555 MB at launch, at least this is the maximum limit set by iTunes"
Finally it seems that the phone is also able to show images of the albums being played, as happens with iPod. This, of course, takes up space from music storage.
