Interesting news coming for the Fitbit activity tracker. The new version of the app for Windows Phone 8.1 brings the software back in line with the editions on iOs and Android, adding a new feature: by activating the voice assistant Cortana it is possible to let the phone know what you just ate simply by talking to us. The app records meals for you and then calculates calories.

The database of recognized foods still does not include Italian dishes and products, and the same Cortana in our country still not landed (you can activate it by setting the United States as a region of origin, but I will speak English anyway). In any case, this is a one-of-a-kind implementation. And since the app does not necessarily require a Fitbit smartband to be associated with your account, when it arrives in Italy it will be available to all users Windows Phone.
