iCloud a service designed by Apple for iOS users. very useful because it allows you to backup your device data directly online and automatically. Thanks to the presence of this backup it is possible to avoid the loss of data in cases of "emergency" such as a sudden restoration to factory conditions or an unsuccessful iOS update.
However, when we access the service on iCloud.com we will find various icons such as Mail, Contacts, Calendar, Photos but we will not find icons related for example to SMS messages, Whatsapp chat, and other data. If you want to view ALL the data on iCloud and maybe export it to your computer (PC or Mac) to print it or to store it on your hard drive (and then delete it from iCloud and make room on it), you'll need third-party software such as FoneLab for iOS.
FoneLab software designed to recover deleted data from the iOS device. It also allows you to extract files from iTunes and iCloud backups. Below we focus on the "iCloud Export" function that allows you to recover and export iCloud data on PC and Mac.
Step 1. Download and install FoneLab on your computer
You can download the free demo version of the program from the official Fonelab website for iOS. The program is compatible with both Windows and Mac OS X systems. Here is the main FoneLab interface for iOS:
Step 2. Access iCloud
From the left sidebar of the program click on ?Recover from iCloud backup file"And then enter the credentials of your iCloud account to access the various backups:
Step 3. Download and analyze the iCloud backup
Once you have entered the login data of your iCloud account, the program will show all the backups on it. Choose the backup to be analyzed and click on "Download? To download it to your PC / Mac.
Step 4. View and extract data from iCloud Backup
Before downloading the iCloud backup, you can also decide which data to display (this will speed up the whole process of downloading and extracting data).
Once the scan is finished, the program will display a screen like the one shown below, where you can view all the data and proceed to the recovery / extrapolation on the computer of the files you want (contacts, photos, messages, whatsapp conversations, notes, calendar, etc?)
