Uber, the application that allows you to hire drivers with driver (and who did talk about s in Italy thanks also to the demonstration of taxi drivers at Wired Next Fest) has decided to release its own Bees. The intention of the company in San Francisco would be to study the company data create integrated services and tools more useful for the use of their cars.
The company wants to expand its pool of potential users: a stable community in 150 cities in nearly 50 countries all over the world.
Uber however, not fasting as regards the use of your data by third parties. In May, the company had integrated your maps with those of Google Maps, so you can call a driver directly from the Google app (made in Cupertino) But yesterday's opening is much more ambitious: Uber render their APIs for every developer who wants to build something useful and interesting on it. On this line, it has already defined collaborations with eleven large partners who could use the service, such as Tripadvisor, Starbucks is United Airlines.
The integration of services, in addition to simplifying the user experience, will push Uber into the doors of a new market. Who will have booked at the restaurant through OpenTable you can also book a ride with Uber. Or, in case you are flying with United Airlines, nothing will prevent you from booking a black sedan just outside the airport. All that remains is to wait for the moment when these services will take hold also in Italy.
