Mapper in the multiscreen world

PCs, tablets, mobile phones, in short, the new tools for accessing information are changing the way we look, we learn and the ways in which we expect to view information. The change is so profound that it is influencing even the most traditional information. The map of the London underground has just been renewed for going into a multi-screen world. The designer Mark Noad has reworked one of the institutions of the infographic: the map of the famous London underground, to make it be "tablet friendly" that could be easily consulted with a cell phone or a PC, but not only. Another stat challenge is to design it in an understandable way, but respecting the geography of the city, often the maps (for simplicity of representation they are not very accurate geographically). The result is a cartona 2.0, a map suitable for mobile phones and billboards, and also pleasantly ecstatic
