a micro-printer. Remember the teleprinters of the past, and instead the most daring of information tools, a personal, unique daily newspaper that collects news from Twitter, Facebook, FourSquare or websites and prints them whenever we want. You can have a personalized newspaper every day, or several times a day. It's called Little Printer and the Berg company created it. The CEO Matt Webb (a name that contains 3, perhaps, a destiny) convinced that the card is the ideal tool to visualize the news I come from social media. The printer is powered by feeds chosen by the user through an App on the SmartPhone. You choose the sites or social networks that you want to include in the newspaper and through the phone (which acts as a remote control) you print the most up-to-date version of your newspaper, up to two versions per day. The result is a sort of long receipt (printed on thermal paper) with all our news. To some observers it seemed strange the choice of paper newspaper (even if in a really new format) to be combined with social media, as if the card belonged to the past. But Webb is also profoundly convinced of this, because the paper born to be shared can be scribbled, pinned and then passed on to someone else. At the time of the Internet empire we sometimes forget that the real social network made by real relatives and friends, who meet, exchange ideas and even pieces of paper, to share news, drawings, projects. Little Printer will be available from 2012.
