iListen, voice recognition for everyone …
MacSpeech showed a demo, still in pre-release 1, of its newest product: iListen. The architecture of the Mac and the speed of its processors, according to the developers, makes this platform extremely suitable for adopting speech recognition software. The product presented is able to work directly from within many applications. The advantage over competitive products is obvious: no more need to launch the speech recognition program and then paste the text into the application in use, with iListen, which works in the background, it is enough to launch our favorite program and dictate Let's look forward to the end of the year for the final version that will be on the market for about 170 dollars.
