Established smartphone manufacturer, the Chinese brand also attacks the segment of tablets, with a product with remarkable audio and multimedia features
Berlin Huawei sells products and services in over 170 countries and is ranked in 2015 third in the world for the number of smartphones distributed. The hunger for growth of the Asian giant does not stop, and now it is looking even more insistently at other segments, first of all that of tablets.
The group presented the new one at the Berlin IFAMediaPad M3, realized in collaboration with Harman / Kardon, a name of absolute reference in the field of audio systems, to give life to a tablet that is strongly multimedia-oriented.
Mounted on the metal body made of the same aluminum used in the aerospace field two 8megapixel cameras, an 8.4-inch screen with ClariVu3.0 display technology, which offers greater image clarity and filters the reverberations responsible for visual fatigue. The screentobody ratio of 82% further underlines the essential and compact style of the device.
The Kirin 950 processor with 4GB of RAM suitable for supporting high-definition video and 3D games, and ready to unleash its potential with every touch of the display.
The fingerprint sensor favors a faster unlocking, better security and a smoother browsing experience while the 5100 mAh battery guarantees up to 11 hours of video playback in Full HD, up to 6 hours of 3D gaming and a full 45 hours of music playback.
This is joined by the development, together with AKG, of accessories like the AKG H300 earphones, designed to reproduce every detail of the music tracks, from high and crystalline notes to deep bass. A partnership that joins the one with Leica for P9 and P9 Plus, and a trend that, passing from the binomial tablet / audio to the smartphone / photo, has paid important dividends and therefore Huawei hopes to amplify.
"The MediaPad M3 builds on Harman's audio experience to completely revolutionize the audio quality that the tablet can offer," said Richard Yu, CEO of Huawei Consumer Business Group during the press conference to launch the new Nova smartphones. "By focusing on continuous advances in multimedia quality, Huawei is constantly raising standards and demonstrating its commitment to exceeding our users' expectations".
Also available in Italy starting September 26th, the tablet will be for sale at 349 euros in the version with Wi-Fi connectivity and 32 GB of internal memory, a price that goes up to 399 euros for the 32 GB LTE version and 64 GB Wi-Fi and up to449 euros for the 64 GB configuration with LTE connectivity.
