Going back in time, bringing back the look of the fabulous 80s also on the computer, I went on the Mac. Ben Vessey among the nostalgics of the first Macs and created a Skin to bring back the computers of the Apple: Mac OS (Old School). It is a set of icons, backgrounds and commands that faithfully reproduce the graphics of the 80s. Some icons are exact replicas, others have been created specifically (software such as Garage Band or iMovie certainly did not exist at the time). It seems a contradiction, to return to a pixel-like graphic, in the Retina display that makes the pixels of which the screen composes invisible to the human eye. But the desire to go back to the 80s and the right minimal invade fashion and why not, technology too. simplicity seems to conquer the taste of users, even when it comes to technology and then they remind us of where it all started: the fabulous 80s and a genius who created an icon that smiled.
