The confirmation comes from sources close to the supply chain of the Cupertino company, the arrival on the market scheduled for the first months of 2017
Rumors are circulating about a possible new iPad format with diagonal of the 10.5-inch display. This time to turn the spotlight on the DigiTimes gadget, which mentions direct (but obviously anonymous) sources from the supply chain of the Cupertino giant residing in Taiwan.
That Apple was working on a new size of its tablet a hypothesis already discussed by some analysts and then taken up by observers and enthusiasts, but now it seems that the production process is about to start: the construction of the next iPad it seems to start next month.
According to sources, the launch of an iPad of this size represents Apple's attempt to meet the needs of businesses and schools in the United States, increasingly looking for large-sized tablets; for these subjects the classic 9.7-inch iPad would be too small, while the current iPad Pro 12.9 too expensive.
As anticipated, the tablet should arrive at the beginning of 2017 along with an update of the two models currently on the market: it will be equipped with the same Apple A10X processor as the more powerful iPads, while it is not clear if it will actually be equipped with a display without frames with an integrated Home key, as previously assumed.
